I have just finished reading a fantastic book about withdrawal, which the author calls only one stage of the grieving process. This book is not about the grief that follows death, although I believe this book would still be helpful, but about the end of a relationship which unleashes the pain of withdrawal going all the way back to infancy. The breakup is just the tip of the iceberg. Below the water level is so much more.
