I have just recently started to use a new technique in therapy. I'm writing from my body instead of my head. It has helped me to understand my feelings and behaviour a bit more. For example:
From my Stomach: as much as I enjoy digesting, feeding me the wrong foods or feeding me too much makes me feel sick and tired. I swell and am distended and sore. I hurt sometimes and feel ignored. Sometimes I get all tied up in knots and I don't know what to do. It's so painful.
This speaks to my food issues and my anxiety. Plus, a bunch of other things. It may be useful for some of you out there. Feel free to try it. Helps me to check in with my body.

I have been having major stomach problems this weekend and it comes and goes, some times just in a ball in bed or trying to throw up even. Its amazing how our body speaks to us through our heart pain stomach neck they say different areas represent different things..MIne has been stomach..I didn't eat much today but will be going to a friends for a group casual dinner and have lasagna so that should help ...I don't want to go but making myself.
