This forum is for people processing grief. This can be grief from a loved one who has died or grief work as part of your withdrawal.
On one hand grief is an emotion. This we can do nothing about except ask God for healing. However, how we think when we have lost a loved one or PoA is going to help a little. This means as much positive thinking about the future as we can muster.
The grief of the body is out of our control. The grief of the mind can be kept from ruining the rest of our lives if we are open minded.
This, of course, in only my opinion. I am starting this forum with my grief work about my daughter. We were estranged when she died because she had not forgiven me for my love addiction when she was a child. I really had to work at forgiving myself.
Over the years I have lost lovers, family, friends, etc. But I have never lost my faith that they are in a better place and that God is with me as I process my feelings.
