I first heard about the eleventh step in 1982, but I never understood what the concept of meditation meant in the eleventh step. Folks told me prayer was talking to God and meditation was listening. But I still thought it was about yoga or some Eastern thing. Tolle is helping me understand what it means when they talk about living in the moment which is what meditation is. It just means transcending thoughts of the past and future. This is exactly what you need as you continue to battle your fantasies. Not only do you change the channel, when combatting fantasies about your PoA, sometimes you turn the television off. Tolle will teach you how.

I completely agree with this principle on living in the moment & transcending the past & the future. I am trying to follow this currently through mindful meditation. And it really helps with thought stopping. The mind will wonder off, thoughts will go all over the place, but with mindfulness or the principle of living in the moment the task is to watch how the thoughts are wandering & to bring it back to the present.
